Our commitment is to seek a balance between immersion in the digital world and physical and mental well-being.
OUR HISTORY
The Matera Association is a non-profit organization that emerged as the result of a collective effort by many professionals dedicated to raising awareness about the healthy use of digital screens in various fields, such as Psychology, Medicine, Law, and Pedagogy.
Recognizing the need to promote changes towards a healthier integration between humans and technology, Matera was born to seek an approach that values the individual and society and promotes empowerment and dignity instead of alienation.
Our mission is to serve as guardians in the digital age, guiding society towards healthier, more constructive, and sustainable practices, while empowering professionals in health, education, and law to lead this transformation.
OUR PURPOSE
We understand that many of us have been affected by the uncontrolled use of screens, and therefore, we need to generate reflections and actions to protect our society in the future!
The Matera Association believes that it is essential to incorporate human values into technological development. Guided by these values, we position ourselves as a self-governed organization, driven by a shared set of ideas.
We invite everyone to join this journey of authenticity and responsibility. We are active agents in building a more ethical and equitable tomorrow, where no one is left behind. Every idea, every action counts. Join us in the pursuit of a future where technology not only advances but also protects, nurtures, and celebrates the best in all of us.
Values that reflect the commitment of the Matera Association to human well-being and the development of our society.
